24hr Motor Assistance Service


Our aim at General Insurance of Cyprus is not only to offer you the best possible insurance cover but also outstanding service while you are on the road. Our service, Motor Assistance, which is provided to you through an independent associate, is designed to relieve you of your daily driving worries. Our service is supported by our associate’s call centre (tel. 24 hours a day and is ready to provide free assistance in case of an emergency, a road accident, mechanical trouble or any other breakdown.

Please note that the service is also available via the “Genikes Mobile” App (available free of charge through the App Store και Google Play for iPhone and Android smartphones), selecting either "Accident Care” or “Road Assistance” on your mobile’s screen.  “Genikes Mobile” will locate your position via GPS and the service providers with whom we cooperate will reach you wherever you are.


Accident Care

In case of an accident you must contact our Motor Assistance service immediately. Our trained associates will visit the scene of the accident in order to:

  • Collect all the necessary details on site
  • Take photographs of the vehicles involved
  • Document the circumstances of the accident
  • Complete the required Accident Statement Forms on site
  • Arrange for your vehicle to be towed to the service garage of your choice


It is important to know that the service is not offered:

  • Beyond the road
  • To vehicles parked in basements
  • For vehicles that need to be transported from one technician to another e.g. from a mechanic to an electrician
